Inspired by Dr. Chris Van Hof and Carol Jarvis's newest method book, Trombone 21, this project aims to provide a helpful tool for jazz trombonists to practice style and section playing using repertoire common in many big band scenarios. Below are five trombone solis from popular big band charts. Each soli contains a reference track with and without a click, and other tracks with one part taken out of the mix (so you can play along with a real trombone section!).Â
